HLA Assignment @ BioHPC

Microsoft Computational Biology Tools

One way to find epitopes is to do lab studies such as ELISPOT. One problem with this approach is that, if you see a reaction in a patient, you don’t know which of the patient’s HLA genes is responsible for the reaction. This tool takes lab data from a series of patients and determines (probabilistically) which HLA genes are responsible for the reaction. The currently installed version is RC1. For detailed description of HLA Assignment program and for literature references please consult the HLA Assignment web page.

Calculations will be carried out on the BioHPC compute cluster at CBSU. You will receive e-mail notifications when the job is submitted, when it starts, and when it is finished. Output will be available via links embedded in the notification e-mails. For more information about this program and BioHPC interface in general, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.
