BEST @ BioHPC
ver 2.2

BEST is a free phylogenetics program by Liang Liu to estimate the joint posterior distribution of gene trees and species tree using multilocus molecular data that accounts for deep coalescence but not for other issues such as horizontal transfer or gene duplication. The program works within the popular Bayesian phylogenetics package MrBayes (Ronquist and Huelsenbeck, Bioinformatics, 2003). BEST parameters are defined using the prset command in MrBayes. For more information please visit BEST home page.

Calculations will be carried out on the BioHPC compute cluster at CBSU. You will receive e-mail notifications when the job is submitted, when it starts, and when it is finished. Output will be available via links embedded in the notification e-mails. For more information about this program and BioHPC interface in general, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.
