MDIV @ BioHPC

MDIV is a program that will simultaneously estimate divergence times and migration rates between two populations under the infinite sites model or under a finite sites model. If you have any comments or questions about MDIV program please contact Rasmus Nielsen at rn28@cornell.edu, or refer to his web page.

Calculations will be carried out on the BioHPC compute cluster at CBSU. You will receive e-mail notifications when the job is submitted, when it starts, and when it is finished. Output will be available via links embedded in the notification e-mails. For more information about this program and BioHPC interface in general, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

E-mail:  (only guests need to use this field, registered users should log in)

Job name (please, no spaces, special characters etc., uderscore is OK)

Input  file:
Input file should be in non-interleaved phylip format but with the numbers of sequences from each population in the end of the file, see example. This has to be a text file, please do not submit binary documents (like MS Word files etc). For more information about phylip format please refer to the documentation of the PHYLIP program, for your convenience here are two the most relevant parts of main.doc and sequence.doc.

Options: (see readme file for standalone version of the program for more information)
